Finally! One Punch Man Season 3 Has Revealed an Explosive New Teaser

The highly anticipated Season 3 of the highly popular anime, One Punch Man, is officially set to premiere in October 2025. Bandai Namco Filmworks recently dropped the first full promotional video, along with a striking “strongest version” key visual, giving fans a thrilling glimpse of what’s to come.

Production and Cast

For those who’ve been eagerly waiting, here’s the scoop: One-Punch Man Season 3 will once again be animated by J.C. Staff, the same studio behind the second season. While some fans had mixed feelings about the animation shift from Madhouse—the studio responsible for Season 1’s stunning action scenes—it looks like J.C. Staff is ready to step things up this time.

The returning voice cast features some familiar favorites, including Makoto Furukawa as the unbeatable Saitama, Hikaru Midorikawa as the fearsome Garou, and Daisuke Namikawa as the sinister Dr. Genus. This means we can expect some intense battles, especially as the story dives deeper into the Monster Association arc, with Garou’s rise as a central figure.

Behind the scenes, the staff lineup is packed with talent. Chikashi Kubota—known for his work on Corpse Princess: Aka and FLCL Progressive—returns as the character designer, ensuring the sharp and dynamic art style fans love. The series scripts are once again handled by Tomohiro Suzuki (ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.), while Makoto Miyazaki (Triage X, Dragon Crisis!) is back to compose the music, setting the stage for those adrenaline-pumping fight scenes.

One-Punch Man follows Saitama, a hero who can defeat any opponent with a single punch. However, his overwhelming strength leaves him bored and unfulfilled as he searches for a worthy challenge. The series brilliantly balances over-the-top action with humor and clever storytelling, making it a hit with both anime fans and newcomers alike.

The first season aired from October to December 2015 and quickly gained global popularity. The second season followed in 2019, and we’re finally getting the third this Fall.

In 2022, Sony Pictures announced a live-action film adaptation, with Justin Lin (Fast & Furious series) set to direct. Recently, it was revealed that Dan Harmon (Rick and Morty, Community) and Heather Anne Campbell are rewriting the script.

You can catch up on One Punch Man on Crunchyroll before Season 3 comes out.
