An Immersive Studio Ghibli 3D Sculpture Exhibition Debuts at Tennozu Isle

The immersive Studio Ghibli 3D Sculpture Exhibition is now open at Warehouse Terrada B&C Hall on Tennozu Isle, Tokyo, running from May 27 to September 23, 2025. This highly anticipated show reimagines iconic scenes from beloved Ghibli films in astonishing three-dimensional detail.

Meticulously crafted 3D sculptures recreating classic moments—such as the Savoia S-21 flying boat from Porco Rosso, brought to life with breathtaking realism on the premise “what if it really existed?”

Immersive scenes featuring Catbus from My Neighbor Totoro, No-Face and the Spirited Away train carriage, and life-sized figures from Princess Mononoke, all illuminated with ambient lighting and original score.

The exhibition offers a dual lens on Studio Ghibli: showcasing the evolution of its international partnerships and celebrating its role in bringing Japanese animation to a global stage.

First debuted in 2003 and evolving over two decades, this marks the exhibition’s return to Tokyo after 22 years, delighting fans of both long and new.
