Your Neighbors, the irresistibly chaotic outfit helmed by songwriter/vocalist Walker Robinson, has shared their existential alt-dance banger “NO DICE,” available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide.
The track portrays a character in pursuit of an elusive euphoria and always comes up unfulfilled. It features Robinson’s patented boundary-defying production and songwriting, effortlessly weaving in and out of indie, pop, and electronic soundscapes.
“The intro sample is me playing some sort of dogmatic religious figure, trying to strike fear into people to make them obedient,” says Robinson. “What’s scarier than death? Completely wasting your life?”
Your Neighbors is headed by an insecure, low rent, drunken has-been with high expectations and a damning sense of self-awareness (aka Walker Robinson). He hires world-class producers and extremely talented musicians to make up for his lack of instrumental prowess and shallow lyrics.
