Acclaimed indie artist Sky Ferreira has just dropped her surprising new single “Leash,” set for the official soundtrack of A24’s highly-anticipated new movie Babygirl.
Babygirl is an American erotic thriller written, directed, and co-produced by Halina Reijn. The film explores the complexities of power dynamics and sexuality within a professional setting as high-ranking CEO Romy Mathis (Nicole Kidman) embarks on a forbidden romance with captivating intern Samuel (Harris Dickinson), who is significantly younger.
Antonio Banderas and Sophie Wilde will also be starring in the film will also be starring in the film along side the aforementioned resurgent Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson.
This is Halina Reijn’s directorial follow-up to the 2022 horror comedy Bodies Bodies Bodies. Along with Rejin, David Hinojosa and Julia Oh are counted as producers.
Babygirl initially premiered at the Venice Film Festival in August, where Nicole Kidman won the Volpi Cup for Best Actress.
A24 is bringing Babygirl to theaters nationwide this Christmas (Dec. 25).
