The Sakamoto Days anime brings to life the story of Taro Sakamoto, a once-legendary assassin who has traded his deadly skills for a quiet life as a family man. After falling in love and settling down, Sakamoto retires from his violent past, gains weight, and now runs a neighborhood store.

However, his peaceful life is often interrupted by the dangerous remnants of his former life, leading to a series of thrilling and comedic encounters. Despite his unassuming appearance, Sakamoto’s assassin instincts remain sharp, making him a formidable force when protecting his loved ones.

The story is a fresh take on the action-comedy genre, combining intense action sequences with lighthearted humor. Fans can expect to see Sakamoto’s transition from a feared hitman to a devoted family man, all while maintaining his lethal edge in protecting those he cares about.
