Intimate and raw, new single “Milan” showcases another side to emerging talent Altara. The stripped back track is a chance to take stock of your emotions and process tough decisions. Sharing more he explained; “I wrote Milan to say what I couldn’t find the words for. I really struggle to let people go, whether it’s in friendships or more, I just hate it. It’s worse when you’re not sure it’s the right thing. That’s what it’s about.”
New on the scene, Altara launched back in August with an impressive debut single. The playful, punchy first move was the result of falling for someone who’s already in a relationship. Immediately infectious, the release garnered a lot of attention.
Altara has spent the last few years evolving his sound and finessing his production skills. It’s safe to say the hard work has paid off. His new EP, The Lobby, marks a vibrant start of what will be a project that evolves and flourishes as his catalog continues to build.
With a genre-bending style that’s already turning heads, Altara could be here to stay. Marrying the catchiness of alt-pop and the intensity of electronica, he’s cracked the code and it’s destined to be kept on repeat.
