The popular manga and anime series Attack on Titan, created by Hajime Isayama is making its way into the metaverse through a collaboration with the virtual world platform “The Sandbox.” This new project aims to bring the rich, post-apocalyptic world of Attack on Titan to life in a digital space, allowing fans to explore and interact with the series in innovative ways.
Developed in partnership with Minto and Copro Corporation, and authorized by Kodansha Ltd., the initiative involves creating NFTs (non-fungible tokens) and immersive environments that replicate key aspects of the Attack on Titan universe. This project will kick off with the sale of virtual LAND within The Sandbox platform, where users can purchase, own, and develop digital plots of land.
Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox expressed excitement about this collaboration, highlighting the global impact of Attack on Titan. He stated, “‘Attack on Titan’ is much more than a Japanese manga series set in a post-apocalyptic dark fantasy world.

In The Sandbox, Attack on Titan will have a designated LAND sale, marking its location on The Sandbox Map. This integration will allow fans to engage with the series in a new format, offering interactive experiences that immerse players in the dystopian world depicted in Attack on Titan.
The Sandbox, an Ethereum-based game, is known for its collaborations with various brands and celebrities, including Snoop Dogg, Gucci, and Paris Hilton, among others. This latest collaboration with Attack on Titan is set to expand The Sandbox’s offerings, bringing a beloved anime and manga series to a broader audience in the metaverse.
