Korean Pop Star Colde Unveils Stunning New English EP ‘YIN’

Colde has arrived to the global stage

Acclaimed Korean R&B artist Colde has arrived to the global stage and US shores with the release of his English-language debut, a three-track EP titled YIN. This project marks a bold transformation in Colde’s artistic journey, showcasing his evolution from a beloved boyish figure to a mature, provocative artist. Accompanying the release, Colde will embark on a North American tour with stops in major cities including Los Angeles, New York City, and Toronto.

YIN blends R&B and pop, featuring addictive hooks and engaging melodies that promise to leave a lasting impression. “The upcoming single album [YIN] serves as a pre-release to my first full-length album and includes three tracks: ‘Toxic Love,’ ‘I Color You,’ and ‘Nirvana Blues.’ [YIN] reveals my musical color, influenced by artists like Pharrell Williams, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake, and Nirvana,” Colde shared.

The EP opens with “Toxic Love,” a seductive track driven by a repetitive bass and synthesizer line. “I’ll Color You” follows as a vibrant pop dance track, using colors to express love uniquely. The EP concludes with “Nirvana Blues,” combining R&B and hip-hop rhythms with an irresistible beat, paying homage to Kurt Cobain.

Colde added, “Each track has a music video demonstrating the intended imagery. ‘Toxic Love’ features edgy visuals filmed in a studio, while ‘I Color You’ and ‘Nirvana Blues’ were filmed in the UK for authentic pop and grunge aesthetics.”

With YIN, Colde aims to offer listeners a fresh experience and redefine his artistic identity. “Having primarily worked in Korean, I produced all tracks in English to meet fans in the global pop market. Alongside this release, I am starting a world tour in August to meet more fans around the world,” Colde said.
