Desire Share Nostalgic New Synth-Pop Single “Vampire”

'Games People Play' is coming out later this year

Desire (the Canadian synth-pop band from Montreal), known for their song “Under Your Spell,” are back with their new single “Vampire“, taken from their upcoming album Games People Play, which is out later this year via Italians Do It Better.

Desire transports listeners to the neon-lit streets of the ’80s with this captivating track dripping with retro allure and mesmerizing fans with its pulsating beats, shimmering synths, and haunting melodies.

Hailed as torchbearers of the synth-pop revival, Desire is renowned for their signature blend of nostalgic soundscapes and modern sensibilities. Comprising vocalist Megan Louise and producer Johnny Jewel, the duo has crafted an electrifying sonic journey that pays homage to yesteryear and continues to push forward their iconic sound.

“Vampire” follows up Desire’s last single “Human Nature,” from their upcoming album. Games Peoples Play will be their third studio album following Escape (2022) & self titled  Desire (2009).
