NYC Pop-Punk Band Shower Beers Share a Dynamic New Anthem “Static City, USA”

A brief detour from their party anthems

NYC-based pop-punk band Shower Beers releases the dynamic single “Static City, USA,” a new sound for the band and a brief detour from their party anthems. It’s a rally against the corporate slog,” says Sean DeKay. “Plus, there’s a Midwest emo bridge where we pretend to be musicians.”

Shower Beers is Chris Diorio (Vocals/Guitar), Sean DeKay (Vocals/Guitar), Joe Berson (Vocals/Bass), and Rob Abrams (Drums). The band formed in 2022 with a goal of writing pop-punk that pops off the pregame, hooks that hit hard, and choruses that will get the boys bopping.

Fresh off of releasing their second EP Miracle on 34th & 3rd. Produced by Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship), Shower Beers partnered with exciting and eclectic artists including Sydney-based SoSo, Atlanta-based glimmers,

Boston-based We Demand Parachutes, and Orlando-based Outatime! to create an EP full of fat riffs and fun times. Despite not touring behind their releases nor having any outside financial backing, they’ve accumulated 200k+ streams.
