Questioning whether things get better

Soho Grand” is the latest single from NY bedroom pop singer/songwriter ROREY.

That feeling kept me from seeking help because, for a while, I thought, What’s the point if it never does? Spoiler alert—it did. Healing isn’t linear; for me, it took years of commitment and surrender. To anyone looking for relief, I’d encourage you to lean into the uncertainty. Trust the process—it’s worth it.”

In 2021 she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder It was during this time she wrote six of the eight songs featured on her upcoming sophomore EP, Dysphoria. The collection of music emulates her cognitive dissonance navigating her mental health journey through haunting melodies, ethereal vocals and swirls of hypnotic instrumentals.
