Actor/Musician Caleb Landry Jones Shares Two New Videos “Spiders In The Trees” and “The Moonkey Light”

Off the deluxe of 'Hey Gary, He Dawn'

Actor-musician Caleb Landry Jones has just shared two new music videos, “Spiders In The Trees” and “The Moonkey Light,” in honor of the just released digital deluxe version of his critically lauded album Hey Gary, Hey Dawn. 11 new songs are added to the album’s original 13. These previously unheard pieces weave seamlessly into the original sonic tapestry, finally seeing the light of day as a digital exclusive.

Jones remarks, “11 more songs than a vinyl can hold. It’s additional contents I can only refer to as the rest of the album. I hope there are those of you out there who appreciate the longer listen with more bubble gum gump pixie romps to cultivate the shrinking hour.”

“The Moonkey Light” is a frenetic animated music video made by Brooklyn based Aidan Stadler.

“Spiders In The Trees” is a visually intense piece of work reminiscent of early Mercury Rev, where the camera focuses on Jones’ face. The video was directed by French filmmaker Jean-Stéphane Sauvaire.

The new tracks for the deluxe edition of Hey Gary, Hey Dawn are more than bonus content—they complete the vision Jones set out to create. By expanding the album, he offers listeners an opportunity to experience the full spectrum of his creativity, making the journey richer and more fulfilling. Over 20 talented musicians contributed to the album, adding layers of depth and complexity that breathe new life into this dynamic collection of songs.

What do you think of Caleb Landry Jones’ two new offerings, “Spiders In The Trees” and “The Moonkey Light”?
