We’re excited to be exclusively premiering the latest single from Chicago native (Miami-based) songwriter Emmy Adelle titled “You Make Me Feel Alive.” The song is about that intensity and spark that comes from certain people who ‘make you feel alive,’ causing even the smallest interactions to feel electrifying.
“‘You Make Me Feel Alive’ is a deeply personal song that reflects those rare moments when everything in life falls into place, and you feel truly alive,” says Emmy. “It blends Fred Again’s uplifting beats with Gracie Abrams’ intimate, vulnerable storytelling. I wrote and produced this track myself and debuted it at Brandy Melville’s NYC Flagship studio to capture the sensation of freedom, connection, and being fully present. It’s a song for those moments we all crave in such a fast-paced, media driven world – dancing and pregaming with friends, driving during sunset, having a deep conversation, or just feeling seen and understood in the moment.”
“You Make Me Feel Alive” highlights Emmy Adelle’s versatility as an artist, offering a fresh, upbeat track that captures both emotional depth and energy. It’s a track that pulses with delicate synths, layered beats, and lush vocals, drawing listeners into a sonic world where intimacy and exhilaration collide. It’s a heartfelt anthem for anyone who’s found their life a little brighter because of someone special.
Emmy produced “You Make Me Feel Alive” from scratch in a single day, later recording vocals at Bay Eight Recording Studios with Jake Catalano as the recording engineer. Mixed by Jake Catalano (Post Malone) and mastered by Skyler Gibbons (David Guetta), “You Make Me Feel Alive” was created with the support of Emmy’s well-versed collaborators. Her past collaborations include Danny Garcia (Ariana Grande, Jason Derulo, Bryce Vine), Elton Chueng (Clairo, Doja Cat), and Cole Kruggel (Juice WRLD), from whom she’s enjoyed learning and drawing inspiration. Reflecting on the production, Emmy shared, “I produced this song at 3 AM, when the emotions were at their peak. It’s one of those songs that encapsulates those intense, late-night moments when everything feels heightened.”
Originally from the Chicago suburbs and currently based in Miami, multi-faceted Emmy Adelle is a half Filipino artist creating a fusion of organic and electronic pop with haunting melodies – all from her bedroom. Growing up as an only child, singing has been her outlet of emotional expression since performing One Republic’s “Stop and Stare” in her second grade talent show.
