Father John Misty is Preparing a Tribute Concert to Scott Walker

The London, England concert will feature a full orchestra and chorus

According to Pitchfork, current singer-songwriter favorite Father John Misty is set to perform a tribute concert to late legend Scott Walker. The concert will be held at London’s Barbican Centre on May 19. He will cover songs including “It’s Raining Today,” “Copenhagen,” and “The Old Man’s Back Again,” with orchestral arrangements adapted and conducted by Jules Buckley for the BBC Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

Songs from the concert will air on BBC Radio 6 Music on May 25 at 4 p.m. Eastern, and the concert will play in full on BBC Radio 3 at a time and date to be announced. Buckley previously oversaw arrangements for the BBC Proms’ Scott Walker tribute in 2017.
