Paisley Park hosts annual celebrations in honor of the late star

Paisley Park, the late legend Prince’s recording studio, museum, and concert venue in Chanhassen, Minnesota hosts annual celebrations in honor of the late music star.

The 2023 celebration (June 8-11) will feature the exclusive presentation of unreleased music from the infamous Prince Vault and special appearances by and conversations with Grammy-winning artist Chaka Khan and Hip-Hop legends Chuck D, D-Nice, and Doug E. Fresh.

Across the weekend, there will be performances from powerhouse Minnesota gospel groups Sounds of Blackness and The Steeles, R&B star Stokley of Mint Condition, members of Prince’s band NPG, Prince backup singer and solo artist Shelby J, DJ and producer D-Nice, DJ Rashida, and many more.

In addition, Celebration 2023 will feature celebrity panel discussions of Prince’s life and career – looking at his relationship with hip-hop, the significance of the number “7” in his work, and the passionate voices who are preserving his legacy.

The Prince Estate unveiled “Hot Summer” – a previously unheard song from Prince’s lost album Welcome 2 America.
