Paisley Park, the late legend Prince’s recording studio, museum, and concert venue in Chanhassen, Minnesota hosts annual celebrations in honor of the late music star.
The 2023 celebration (June 8-11) will feature the exclusive presentation of unreleased music from the infamous Prince Vault and special appearances by and conversations with Grammy-winning artist Chaka Khan and Hip-Hop legends Chuck D, D-Nice, and Doug E. Fresh.
Across the weekend, there will be performances from powerhouse Minnesota gospel groups Sounds of Blackness and The Steeles, R&B star Stokley of Mint Condition, members of Prince’s band NPG, Prince backup singer and solo artist Shelby J, DJ and producer D-Nice, DJ Rashida, and many more.
In addition, Celebration 2023 will feature celebrity panel discussions of Prince’s life and career – looking at his relationship with hip-hop, the significance of the number “7” in his work, and the passionate voices who are preserving his legacy.
The Prince Estate unveiled “Hot Summer” – a previously unheard song from Prince’s lost album Welcome 2 America.
