Yes, there is a Beauty of Horror coloring book series and it probably is not for kids. This line of coloring books was actually created by Alan Robert, the bassist, and lyricist in the New York alt-metal band Life Of Agony.
So, knowing this, it might not be such a big surprise that the new, fifth installment in the series bears the title Haunt Of Fame and features stars from rock and pop culture like Lemmy, David Bowie, Ramones, Kurt Cobain, among others.
As a trailer for the new book reveals, Cobain, Lemmy, Ramones, and Bowie will be joined on the pages by the likes of the stars of Golden Girls, Jimi Hendrix, and the flying monkeys from The Wizard Of Oz.
This coloring book will also feature Roberts’ own character, called Ghoulina. The ghost girl will also be transformed into a five-inch figurine as she joins collectibles company NECA’s ‘Tiny Terrors’ line.
Speaking about his character, author Roberts said: “To see Ghouliana smiling her piranha-like grin alongside gruesome greats like The Nun, Scream’s Ghost Face, and Michael Myers is a huge honor for me. I feel like my little undead girl is all grown up!”
The Beauty Of Horror 5: Haunt Of Fame coloring book will be released on August 24, via IDW Publishing.
