Phoebe Bridgers and other artists are flocking to a new streaming live concert service

Bandsintown has launched a new subscription service, Bandsintown PLUS

Concert and tour website, Bandsintown has launched a new subscription service, Bandsintown PLUS. The service will stream live concerts with the aim to give subscribers access to over 25 live shows a month, and some of the biggest names in alternative music have agreed to take part in the first month.

Among the artists to take part during the first month of the service are Waxahatchee, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Phoebe Bridgers, Claud, Omar Apollo, Little Dragon, Soccer Mommy, and Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold.

The service will cost avid music fans a monthly fee of just $9.99 a month, which provides access for all of the shows that Bandsintown has lined up. In addition to that, fans can try the service with a free seven-day trial or can enter Bandsintown’s competition to win a one-year subscription worth $99 via social media.

Fabrice Sergent, the Managing Partner of Bandsintown, has said in a statement: “For the past year, we’ve been hungry for live shows and for a chance to support the artists we love.”

“Bandsintown PLUS is an opportunity to break the barriers of cost and location that have historically hindered live music experiences. Now, with Bandsintown PLUS, live music can be more affordable, more accessible and more approachable.”

Sergent then added: “Touring artists have been economically ravaged by COVID-19’s restrictions. Bandsintown PLUS is a chance to help innovate the industry, creating new sources of revenue for artists, while deepening connections with their fans.”
