Gucci is one of the most renowned luxury fashion houses in the world so it is no wonder it is able to organize its own film festival, as well as film its own mini series.
Gucci just announced that it will premiere its new seven-episode mini-series titled Ouverture of Something that Never Ended at its GucciFest fashion and film festival that is held Nov. 16-22 2020. The series will feature two of the pop’s current biggest stars – Billie Eilish and Harry Styles. The series co-directors are musical big shot director Gus Van Sant and Gucci creative director, Alessandro Michele.
According to UPI, “[o]uverture follows actress and artist Silvia Calderoni as she spends a ‘surreal’ day in Rome and encounters Styles, Eilish, Florence + the Machine singer Florence Welch, Chinese singer and K-pop star Lu Han, and other talents.”
In its press release, the fashion house said that, “the presentation of the new collection is a joyful and irregular new tale, no longer constrained by the old notion of seasonality, closer to Michele’s expressive call and told by blending rules and genres, feeding on new spaces, linguistic codes and communication platforms.”
