“Better Now” has definitely been one of the songs that people have gravitated to the most thanks to an admittedly catchy hook, it’s a wonder that it took this long for it to get the visual treatment, but it’s black and white concert footage really shows just how big of a star Post Malone has become since those early “one-hit wonder” labels. The story of XXXTENTACION continues on despite his tragic passing, as we get more looks at what he had planned for what would undoubtedly be a bright future. The video for “MOONLIGHT” is a straightforward affair but there’s something reassuring about seeing the young artist smiling and just enjoying himself. It might be too early to say that T.I. is officially back, but his latest project has left nothing but positive impressions and “Wraith” was a definite banger off the tape so it’s no surprise to see it get the visual treatment. Obviously it comes accompanied with the prerequisite wraiths, cash, and jewelry, but there’s a comical background story of TIP chasing after a little boy who’s taken his car for a joy ride across the city.
Before Will Smith starting taking this IG/social media thing seriously, I had no idea he and Marc Anthony had such a close relationship. They’ve been bro’ing out all over the place and now they’ve officially joined forces on Anthony’s latest single. They might just have one with this one, it’s a complete vibe that I expect to tear up the clubs, and the video is full of some nice…eye candy. Before it’s all said and done, twenty one pilots will probably have put out a video for every song off Trench, and their latest one, for “My Blood”, seems to ditch the dystopian-esque narrative they had been painting over their last few visuals and I think the story it crafts is a more meaningful one, while the song itself is probably my favorite single they’ve released thus far.
