Maybe somebody out there can enlighten me, but I have no idea what DJ Esco’s role is in music. I assume he’s more of a DJ Drama/Khaled than a producer; where his biggest talent is bringing together actual talent. I could be wrong, but someone out there let me know. Either way, calling Kolorblind a DJ Esco tape is true in name only. For all intents and purposes, this is a Future mixtape that’s being presented by Esco. He shows up on all 11 tracks and the sound is very much what we’ve come to expect from him. There’s really not a whole lot to say about it, there’s a handful of knocking songs that warrant a few spins and seeing Nas on here was an unexpected surprise, although it was more than a bit underwhelming, but there’s nothing as big as “Too Much Sauce” and there’s nothing that would make Future’s greatest hits. “Warzone” was the closest it ever came to evoking any real emotion and despite it being a star studded tape, it’s ultimately vapid. At this point you either love/like Future or you don’t.

Migos - Culture II | Reactions | LIVING LIFE FEARLESS
My general feeling after listening to the Migos' latest was that I heard this all before from them, and much better. Whereas Culture felt fresh and radical in it's trendsetting ways, Culture II feels regressive and safe. This time they're going to have a hard time distinguishing themselves from the many clones they've spawned over the years.

Travis Scott & Quavo - Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho Reaction | LIVING LIFE FEARLESS
For what they may lack in pure lyricism both Travis Scott & Quavo have a great grasp on melody and have flows that you can't help but get caught up in. Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho won't make any of my end of the year lists but it's worthy of more than a few spins and provided great turn up music for the holidays. I can't ask for much more from the pair.

Jeezy - Pressure
Pressure is Jeezy's best project in recent memory but it still didn't quite deliver on all the immense promise of its tracklisting and noteworthy features. A mix of standout and generic, skewing more in the direction of the latter. And he's just not as interesting of an orator as he once was.

I got 10 whips outside and they showed you
I put a Rover in the pot and took it global”
