Trailer Roundup 2/19-3/4

This past roundup didn’t have a ton of new stuff to get excited about but we did get a look at what appears to be yet another mesmerizing Netflix documentary in Wild Wild Country. Somehow I’ve never heard of these events or this so called cult but from what little I’ve seen so far, this is a must watch. If you love weird, stranger than fiction tales than you might be right there with me. They keep their killer documentaries going with Flint Town – a close look at the now infamous Michigan town and it looks INTENSE. We’re talking poisonous water supplies, racial tensions, corruption, and a confrontational relationship between the police and its people. Not even House of Cards could make this s**t up. Lastly, Netfilx gave us the first look at Season 2 of Jessica Jones. Season 1 wasn’t my favorite of their Marvel offerings but there’s no denying that it’s unlike any other super hero show out there and it’s topics and themes are ripe for the current climate we’re in. I just hope we get a bit more action and pace than the first time around. I still don’t know how they’re going to replace Killgrave though.

We also get our second look at Chappaquiddick, a movie that’s been talked about more than seen, and what was just passing interest has turned into a must see for me. It’s a story that I don’t think many people know but it’s themes are as relevant as ever and it doesn’t look to be pulling any punches from the story’s nastier aspects. Lastly, I wasn’t expecting this back so soon but we just got our first look at Wreck-It Ralph 2, fully titled Ralph Breaks The Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. As I’m sure you can tell, this time he’s leaving the arcade and wreaking havoc all across the internet. Wasn’t too much of a fan of the first one, but it’ll pull in massive numbers.

Check out everything I rounded up below and let me know which ones you’re most pumped for.
