Video Roundup 11/19/17

Video Roundup 11/19-11/25

In this week’s roundup we get a brand new video from OK Go, and you know what that means – another ridiculously intricate contraption-driven visual, this time powered by hundreds of printers. It’s not my favorite one of theirs but the sheer complexity and difficulty of pulling this off is once again impressive. It’s hard for the visuals not to overpower the song itself though. P!nk returns with a colorful, Channing Tatum assisted video for the title track off her last album. It’s uh…interesting to say the least. I wonder how big of a favor he owed to be in this one.

On the hip-hop side of things, Dave East hit us with a video for one of the more turnt tracks off Paranoia. It’s a fairly generic rap video but there’s some impressive bone breaking and flexing going on in it. DRAM releases a borderline NSFW video for his new single “ILL NANA” featuring all assortments of ‘angels’, and Post Malone finally drops official visuals for his smash hit, “rockstar.” I was expecting a more ‘rockstar’ aesthetic but instead we a veryyy hazy Kill Bill inspired video that makes absolutely no sense in terms of the song. But in general Post Malone as an artist doesn’t make a ton of sense, but still somehow works so it’s not too much of a stretch. Check out everything I rounded up below and let me know which ones were your favorites.

OK Go – Obsession

P!nk – Beautiful Trauma

Dave East – Phone Jumpin ft. Wiz Khalifa

DRAM – ILL NANA ft. Trippie Redd

Sia – Santa’s Coming For Us

Skeme – Won’t Judge You
