Trailer Roundup 11/27/17

Trailer Roundup 11/27-12/10

Holy sh*t! It’s here! It’s finally here! It’s been a long build up, but we’ve finally arrived at the super hero movie to end all super hero movies, well at least the first part. Marvel just went straight up ‘hold my beer’ on DC and Justice League with our first real look at Avengers: Infinity War. This film has so many expectations to live up to and going strictly off the trailer it looks to match those and then some. Thanos looks and sounds like an absolute badass and seeing everybody, and I mean everybody, finally together would have made my 8 year old head explode. The hype is real with this one!

In fact, this roundup was absolutely full of massive genre annoucements like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and Ready Player One. I didn’t necessarily love the first Jurassic World, but seeing Rex again is undeniably cool. Ready Player One is like a live-action look at a kids toy box and looks like it might really capture that old Spielberg charm from the late ’80s. On the more unexpected side of things, Sony released a trailer for an animated Spider-Man multiverse feature and it might just be the first Spider-Man movie I’ve been truly excited for since Spiderman 2. Not to be outdone, DC gave us a new trailer for something called Batman Ninja. As if those two words alone didn’t sell you, it’s a Batman anime set in feudal Japan and it looks absolutely batsh*t crazy (hold for applause) I have no idea what’s going on there but count me in.

There’s really so much more stuff of note so check out everything I rounded up below and let me know which ones you’re most pumped for.
