Trailer Roundup 10/2/17

Trailer Roundup 10/2-10/15

With all of the recent film festivals and cons happening around the world there’s been an outpouring of new trailers from all range of genres and styles, leaving us with a pretty varied roundup of these past couple of weeks. The biggest drop by far was the new look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi; there’s definitely some spoilery elements in there but it’s got me more excited and hopeful for a truly original tale in the saga than the previous one and you can never have too much Luke Skywalker in your life. Time to go on a media blackout for this one though. The next biggest blockbuster has to be the continued expansion of Fox’s X-Men universe with the delightfully genre take on The New Mutants. Straight up horror vibes with this one and it looks dope! Love when studios take big chances.

On the smaller scale of things, Denzel Washington looks to be taking on his most interesting role in years, My Friend Dahmer looks appropriately f*cking creepy considering who this movie’s about (a breakout role perhaps?), the visionary Philip K. Dick gets another wild looking adaptation absolutely chock-full of big name stars, and the two people I think a large majority of us has grown up on, Bill Nye and Jane Goodall, get their own respective looks at their lives and works. If you’re not a fan of Bill Nye then what kind of monster are you!? There was much, much more and you can check out everything we’ve rounded up below. Let me know which ones you’re most excited about.
