Facelifts and a little extra | Updates | THE COLLECTIVV
Well, we promised some updates were incoming for THE COLLECTIVV and we’ve finally been able to get around to making some of those happen. Nothing major in the way of new features or updating the framework/functionality, but a lot of new styling/design updates and tweaks. And as always, a few touch ups here and there turned into an extensive laundry list of changes.
Some will be noticeable right away and some you probably won’t even know have been changed. We like to be transparent with everything we do, and I like keeping record of things myself, so I’ve listed out most of everything of concern that we updated below.
First off we updated all of our email templates, as there were still some old assets and styling still lying around. Next we updated all the icons to use font awesome. Before, everything was hand crafted and was extremely time consuming. To make any type of adjustments or to make them responsive to different viewing sizes was an undertaking; now everything’s cohesive and completely responsive and adjustable. All pop up forms were restyled and updated to fit in with the new aesthetics of the site. Lastly, there was a ridiculous amount of small adjustments and touch ups done throughout the site to make everything more cohesive visually.
Next week we’ll begin working on the new feature we promised, featured/pinned posts, so be on the look out for that update and if you’re not already, come join the community. It’s free, it’s ready for a big push, and if you need help getting started, there’s a great FAQ’s section.
What do you guys think about the new update? Is there anything in particular you think needs a facelift? Let me know in the comments below, we’d love to get feedback on this.
